The Adams County Library System is looking for original stories, in Spanish or English, from children in preschool through 12th grade.
The theme is “My COVID-19 Kindness.”
Five awards will be given, one in each of the following age ranges:
- Preschool
- Kindergarten – Grade 2
- Grades 3 – 5
- Grades 6 – 8
- Grades 9 – 12
Each story should have 550 words or less. One entry per person.
There are three ways to submit your entry:
- 1) upload your story at www.adamslibrary.org
- 2) email your story to mystory@adamslibrary.org. Please include the following in the subject line: My COVID-19 Kindness Story
- 3) mail a copy to 140 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325. You must include your name, grade, email or mailing address, phone number, and title of your story when mailing or emailing your story.
The deadline for submission is Saturday, August 15 and winners will be announced during the week of August 24.
Winners’ stories will be published on the official Adams County Library System’s website at www.adamslibrary.org. A submission signifies your permission and willingness for the Adams County Library System to publish your story on its website.
