King and Culp Street Update

Both King and Culp Street will be completed today (8/12), and open to traffic this afternoon!
Broadway Street Update
August 12th, 2019
(8/12) -C.E Williams has the storm drain structures ordered and will begin working on the storm drains as soon as it arrives. After this phase is completed, they will begin work on the sidewalks and curbing.
East Broadway Street – The North side resident driveway entrances and Jacob’s Alley have been restored. The Public Works crew is finished working on East Broadway. C.E Williams will be completing the project. Waste Connections will resume normal trash pick up on the North side of East Broadway (8/6).
Reminder: Carlisle Street residents that use Jacob’s Alley for garbage pickup, please place your garbage along the curb on Carlisle Street on Tuesday (8/6)
West Broadway Street – The milling of West Broadway is complete. C.E Williams will begin working to complete the project. The contractor for GMA’s water line will be restoring the trench paving for the new water lines.
