The Gettysburg boys’ track team finished their league season undefeated at 6-0 and earned Mid Penn Colonial Division Championships by defeating Waynesboro.

Highlights for the winning Warriors included:
Ava Christianson (Junior/ goalie) had 12 saves in goal.
Carly Schumacher (Junior/ midfielder) had six draw controls, one assist, and two goals.
Naomi Spangler (senior/ midfielder) had five goals, two ground balls, and one draw control.
Aheli Patel (Junior/ attacker) had three goals and three draw controls.
Peyton Kissel (senior/ defender) had three caused turnovers and two ground balls.

Girls Lacrosse

New Oxford 18 Lampeter-Stasburg 11

Cameryn Cohee scored seven goals, and Allore Needle had five, leading the Colonial attack. New Oxford had 34 shots on goal, and Brionca Vail had six Saves.
Lampeter-Strasburg had 21 shots on goal.
Lydia Marcroft had 9 Saves.
New Oxford won the jayvee game, 11 – 2.

Maren Miller had two goals and five draw controls, Carly Schumacher had six goals, two assists, four ground balls, and three draw controls, Sophia Williams had two goals and six ground balls, Brynn Riddlemoser had two goals and four assists, and four ground balls.

A big fifth inning allowed visiting Spirng Grove to finish off Gettysburg in five innings. For the Warriors, Emily Haines, Ellie Sands, and Abby Thompson all had two hits.

Jocelyn Miller had a big day for Biglerville with three hits, six RBIs, and three runs scored as the Canners made short work of York Catholic. Kierlney Weigle also had three hits for the winners.

An eight-run third inning and some Gettysburg fielding miscues keyed LD’s win. Morgan Rebert had an excellent day at the plate for the Warriors, with a homer, double, and three runs batted in.

Red Lion blanked the Colonials on just two hits while banging out 14 of their own. Miranda Leatherman and Isabelle Donnelly had New Oxford’s hits.
