While the Warriors were on the wrong end of the final score, there were plenty of highlights in the contest. Gabe Wyant continues to impress between the pipes as he stopped 18 shots and picked up his 450th career save. Wyant has a 52.38% save this year and has his eye on another mark. With 4 games left, Wyant needs 39 saves to hit 500 career saves
Cole Schumacher, the most prolific goal scorer in Warriors history, found the back of the net for the 50th time in his career. Schumacher led the team with 17 shots on the night. Freshman Gavin Nevada capitalized with the game’s first goal, picking up his 9th of the season. Nevada was also credited with his 4th assist on the season. Jackson Sheads stayed hot as he scored twice. Sheads leads the team with 20 goals through 14 games. Schumacher and Sheads led the team with 5 ground balls each. Brennen Double rounded the scores with his 4th assist if the year, two off the team’s lead.
The Warriors played lockdown defense against the Rockets as they held them to 27 shots on goal. R J Monn, Josh Martin, Sam Dickerson, Gavin Hodges, Lucas Ramsburg, and the rest of the squad were body and stick checking, switching on D, and causing turnovers. They were a fine-oiled machine and kept the Warriors in the contest for much of the game. The Warriors head to State College tomorrow for their 5 PM contest. Thanks to Max Felty and the Gettysburg Tours for providing transportation to the game.

Susquehannock | 1 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 3 | 5 | 6 | 4 |
After Susquehannock rallied to tie the game in the top of the seventh, the Colonials won it in walk-off fashion in the bottom of the inning on a base hit by Cora Diviney, who had a pair of hits on the day, as did Hannah Becker, the only four New Oxford hits in the game. Four Susquehannock errors aided the Colonials’ cause, as did 10 bases-on-balls. Defensively, pitcher Miranda Leatherman turned in another route-going performance, allowing just three earned runs while walking three and striking out eight.
