The Warriors stayed unbeated, moving to 6-0, with Kye’mere Robinson (Long Jump, Triple Jump) and Preston Burnett (100, 200) leading the way with two wins apiece. Other winners for the boys included Owen Clapsadle (1600), Kyler Benedict (110 hurdles), Adrian Smith (400), Mauricio Escobar-Rudy (High Jump), and Dylan Cunningham (Javelin). Nico Oshunrinade took the 3200 in a particularly strong early season time of 9:57.3. Chuck Norman (43’9 1/2”, shot put) and Brody Hebert (10:14, 3200) also had notable personal bests.
The 4×800 relay of Nico Oshunrinade, Will Morris, Owen Clapsadle, and Luke Breighner established a season-best 8:18.9 to set the tone for the meet right off the bat. The Warrior boys won all three relays.

Brionca Vail had 10 Saves.

Girls Track
April 7
Gettysburg 96 Shippensburg 54

The Gettysburg went to 6-0 on the season with the Bannak twins, Caroline and Lily, and distance ace Samantha Campbell once again leading the way. Caroline won the 100, 200, and 400 dashes, while sister Lily won both hurdle races. Campbell won the 800 and 3200 and anchored the 4×800 relay. Alexa Codori (shot put, discus) was also a double winner and has shown significant improvement in the shot put this season. Other winners included Madison Flickinger (1600) and Charlotte Brandauer (triple jump). Isla Lewis had a strong third-place performance in the 800 with a time of 2:38, completing a Gettysburg sweep in that event.
The Gettysburg boys’ and girls’ teams will be gunning for a pair of Mid Penn divisional championships next Tuesday in a home meet against Waynesboro.
