Delone’s strong fourth quarter was the key in Squires’ first-round win at the Gettysburg Lions Holiday Tournament Friday night. Braden Smith and Lian O’Brien led Delone with 17 and 13 points, respectively. For Gettysburg, Kayson Johnson had 16 and Charlie Shull 12.

Gettysburg couldn’t sustain its hot start and eventually couldn’t contain Hanover’s Riley Stigler, as the Hawks won Friday night’s opener of the Hanover Tournament in overtime. Stigler netted a game-high 25 points, and Iris Diaz added 17 points for Hanover. For Gettysburg, Madeline Delaney had 15 points, and Liberty Picarelli had 12.
