It was over early at New Oxford on Wednesday evening, as the Colonials started fast and cruised to the win. Brody Holmes led the scoring for New Oxford with 17 points, followed by Brayden Billman with 14 and Braedon Bowman with 10.

Gettysburg rolled to victory in the opening round of the District 3 AAA team wrestling tournament, using a dominant stretch of falls to break the match open early.
After dropping the opening bout at 107 pounds, the Warriors responded immediately, rattling off wins in the next 10 weight classes. The turning point came at 121, where Aiden Black earned a fall in 1:16 to swing momentum fully in Gettysburg’s favor. From there, the Warriors piled up bonus points, with Will Yordy (127), Cain Siep (133), Isaiah Jackson (139), Myles Grossman (145), Blake Haines (152) and Reed Grossman (160) all recording pins, most of them in the first half of their matches.
Curtis Rebert added another fall at 172, closing out a stretch that saw Gettysburg secure seven pins in eight bouts. Reed Whitmoyer (189) and Nolan Renart (215) contributed victories as the Warriors continued to extend the lead, before Keegan McGrew capped the night with a pin at heavyweight.

The Warriors continued their surge with a commanding 57-14 win over Exeter in District 3 AAA Round Two, leaning heavily on bonus points and a flurry of falls to pull away early.
Gettysburg seized control beginning at 114, where Jayden Black delivered a pin in 3:08. Aiden Black followed with a fall at 121 in 5:46, and Will Yordy added six points via forfeit at 127 to quickly widen the gap. Cain Siep and Isaiah Jackson kept the momentum rolling at 133 and 139, each recording first-period pins.
Gettysburg’s middle weights proved overwhelming. Myles Grossman (145), Blake Haines (152) and Reed Grossman (160) all notched falls — Grossman and Haines doing so in under a minute — as the Warriors built an insurmountable lead. Reed Whitmoyer added another pin at 189, and Keegan McGrew closed out the scoring surge with a fall at 215.

Gettysburg took control with an exemplary fourth quarter in besting Waynesboro. Emerson Seidel’s game-high 20 points led the Warriors, while Bailey Irvin added 18, and Isabelle Sites also reached double figures with 12 points.

A strong second half helped the Canners get past the Hawks in Hanover on Wednesday. Jocelyn Miller had a monster game for Biglerville, leading all scorers with 24 points. Evangeline Hollabough chipped in with 16. Sydney Shaeffer led Hanover with 12 points.

Gettysburg’s put together a balanced performance to earn the win over McCaskey.
The Warriors set the tone early with pins. Taylor Keckler delivered a fall at 106 pounds in 2:24, and Ella Nevada followed at 124 with a pin in 1:04 to give Gettysburg early momentum. Alex Hershelman added another fall at 142, ending her bout in 2:49, while Fallon Jackson (170) and Ava Christianson (190) closed out the match with back-to-back pins, Jackson in 2:44 and Christianson in just 1:00.
Gettysburg also picked up important points through decisions and forfeits. Denise Ponce earned a decision at 112, Isabella Garrett posted a major decision at 136, and the Warriors benefited from a pair of forfeits in the middle of the lineup to widen the gap.
