Jefferson’s Justin Fry exploded for 42 points, and the Jaguars erased a nine-point halftime deficit, ending New Oxford’s season in Round 1 of the Class 5A playoffs Friday night at Jefferson Hills. Brody Holmes, who sparked the Colonials’ quick start with nine first-quarter points, led the New Oxford scoring with 26 points. Brayden Billman added 11.

Delone traveled nearly 100 miles on Saturday, but it was worth the trip, as the Squires routed Schuylkill Haven in the first round of the PIAA 2A championships. Luke Rebert led the way with a game-high 24 points, Griffin Collins had 13, and Liam O’Brien added 10 points to round out the well-balanced attack.

Delone won a thriller Saturday afternoon in McSherrystown, advancing through the first round of the 4A playoffs, squeaking past visiting Lansdale Catholic. Reece Meckley paced the Squirettes with 15 points, and Amelia Joyce added 11 to lead the winning effort.
