The Warriors rode another sterling Tegan Kuhns pitching performance to the win over LD on Wednesday. Kuhns went the distance, allowing only an unearned run, striking out eight and walking two. Lower Dauphin took a one-run lead in the fifth but Gettysburg answered back with two runs in the bottom of the inning. Wyatt Sokol and Austin Keller each had a pair of hits for the Warriors.

Bright spots in the loss for the Squires were Kaden Hix with nine ground balls, Austin Gregg’s 10 saves and Sam Hall, who scored the lone Delone goal.

Despite missing five key players on their senior night, the Warriors put forth a valiant effort in a hard-fought loss. Carly Schumacher scored 4 goals, had three ground balls, and three draw controls; Maddy Hassinger had a goal, two assists, a ground ball, and three draw controls; Aheli Patel (# had a pair of draw controls; Madi Brubaker contributed three ground balls; Auvrie Coscia scored a goal and a ground ball; Brynn Riddlemoser contributed a ground ball. In goal, Ava Christianson made seven saves.

The Canners delighted the hometown fans with a walk-off win on Tuesday. Eastern York tied the game at three-all in the top of the fifth before Biglerville’s Ava Peterson singled home the winner. Kierney Weigle and Leah Strawsburg each had two hits for the Canners. Winning pitcher Sydney McCleaf went the distance, scattering nine Eastern hits.

The red-hot Canners made quick work of York Catholic on Wednesday, powered by a 13-run second inning. Bigerville rapped out 13 hits in all. Leah Strasburg went three-for-three with three RBI and three runs scored. Paige Slaybaugh also knocked in three while going two-for-two and scoring twice. Makennah Miller got the pitching win, going all three innings.

After Kennad-Dale tied the game with a seventh-inning run, Littlestown walked off with the win in the bottom of the inning, Libby Brown scoring the winner. Alexis Stonesifer had two of the Bolts’ six hits and scored two runs, while Isabella Olvera knocked in two. Maddy Dubbert pitched a complete game, allowing just one earned run to earn the win.
