Kutztown shut out the Thunderbolts to win the Class AAA District 3 title on Tuesday. The Cougars scored in every inning but one, while pitchers Brianna Bauscher and Emily Brown combined to limit Littlestown to just one hit, a single by Alexis Stonesifer. In addition to her pitching performance, Bauscher had a triple and knocked in three of Kutztown’s runs. Despite the loss, Littlestown will compete in the state playoffs beginning next week.
