Exeter Township’s Jake Franek kicked a 25-yard field in the final seconds to give the Eagles the win and New Oxford its first loss of the season. The defeat also knocks New Oxford out of the District 3 Class 5A playoffs. Prior to the winning field goal, the Colonials had marched down the field to tie the score, moving from their own 19-yard line with under a minute remaining. But Exeter Township’s Jayden Zandier returned the ensuing kickoff to the New Oxford 33, and after a few plays and a timeout, Franek was in range for the deciding score.
