Colonial @ Division

Shippensburg extended its unbeaten season in Colonial Division golf Thursday at Gettysburg National, posting a team score of 311 to secure its sixth straight win. Ben Horgos led the Greyhounds with a 71, finishing second overall behind Gettysburg’s Landon Blocher, who carded a tournament-best 69 on his home course.
Northern placed second at 314, paced by Logan White’s 72, while Gettysburg finished third with 317. James Buchanan was fourth at 326, followed by Waynesboro (339), Greencastle (340), and Big Spring (353).
Other standout rounds included Taylor Blair of James Buchanan with a 75, and a cluster of 78s from Brody Granger (Gettysburg), Bryce Davidson (Greencastle), Kyle Miller and Cole Syvertson (Northern), and Caiden Shacreaw (Waynesboro).
On the girls’ side, Gettysburg’s Fallon Jackson, Shippensburg’s Kaydee Beckenbaugh, and Waynesboro’s Abby Byers competed, with Beckenbaugh’s 79 placing her among the top overall finishers.

Final team standings:
Shippensburg 311, Northern 314, Gettysburg 317, James Buchanan 326, Waynesboro 339, Greencastle 340, Big Spring 353.
