Alex Alvarado scored the winning goal, his third of the game, with 2:24 left in the second overtime to give the Eagles a thrilling win over York Catholic. After being shut out in the first half, Bermudian tied the game on an Alvarado goal with 7:39 left in regulation time. After a scoreless first OT, Alvarado netted the winner off an assist from sophomore Landon Oehmig. Colton Kehr got the Bermudian scoring going at the beginning of the second half, ending the shutout and beginning the Eagles’ comeback.

The Squires broke a school record winning their 8th game in a season with their victory over the Fairfield Knights on a soggy field and in a steady drizzle. The Squires were down one goal only a few minutes into the game but came back to tie it 1-1 by halftime with a throw-in from JP Groves to the middle in front of the goal and a tap by Michael Carter to Angello Salazar who tapped it past the goalie and struck it with his left foot for the goal. The defense held the Knights scoreless in the second half. Delone continued to score off a turnover ball with Salazar making the game-winning goal from 30 yards out. Minutes later, Vlad Kojic fed a ball down the right sideline to Dacosta Wivell who dribbled and popped it over in front of the goal and Nolan Kruse put it in to make the final score 3-1 over the Knights. Player of the Game: Angello Salazar scored his 9th and 10th goals and 3rd GWG of the season.,

The Warriors jumped out to a two-goal lead early in the second half on goals by Gabe Carillo-Rico and Dan Langman before Marcus Becker and Tristan Sibert scored to tie the match. The overtime period was then scoreless, resulting in the tie.
The JV match also ended in a 2-2 tie.,

Only Parishi and Bhanu and the doubles team of Molly Heaton and Maja Engl were able to dent the scoreboard with wins as powerful Central Dauphin cruised to the victory.
For Gettysburg, the bright spot was the Senior Night celebration. Seniors Carmen Oshunrinade and Molly Heaton were recognized along with international student Maja Engl. Varsity letters and athletic participation certificates were presented by AmyBeth Hodges, member of the GASD board of directors.

Once again, the Colonials won all their matches in earning back-to-back division titles for the first time in their history.

In a match that was a continuation of a September 11 match-up halted by rain, the Bermudian girls earned a hard-fought victory and, in the process, registered a school-record seventh win of the season.,
When play stopped all matches were in the first set. Bermudian’s #1 singles, Amelia Gerringer was behind 4-1; #2 singles, Greta Haley was behind 2-0; #3 singles, Ava Leatherman was ahead 2-0; #1 doubles Reese Lighty and Ella Somerville were behind 2-1; and #2 doubles Rebekah Myford and Addie Elliott were behind 2-0.,
The first matches completed were the two doubles matches and West York had the overall lead in the match 2-0 next. Greta Haley from Bermudian Springs came through with her victory. The next point in the match came from Bermudian’s Ava Leatherman, the score now tie 2-2. This set up a dramatic and tense final match between Bermudian Springs’ Amelia Gerringer and Ella Mikula. Gerringer, having been behind 4-1 at the resumption of play, went on to lose the first set 6-2, before pulling out a tight 7-5 win, leveling the score at 1 all. With all of the other courts having completed their matches, it left Gerringer and her West York opponent to play the final set with all eyes watching. Gerringer slowly pulled away and finished the dramatic match with a third-set 6-4 win, propelling the Eagles to a very memorable win.,

On a crisp afternoon at Cedar Cliff, the home team was dominant in a 5-0 win.
Gettysburg’s top player, senior Carmen Oshunrinade, locked rackets with Cedar Cliff’s Joey White in a competitive first game before White took the upper hand, winning with scores of 4-6 and 1-6.
In the second singles match, Gettysburg junior Auvrie Coscia, was shut out by Cedar Cliff’s Sarah Valentine.
Gettysburg’s sophomore Parishi Bhanu tried to turn the tide for her team, but Asha Woolbright proved too strong, ending the game with scores of 1-6 and 1-6.
In doubles matches, Gettysburg’s pairing of Ava Fair and Molly Heaton, both tenth graders, were up against Cedar Cliff’s duo of Lily Herbert and Emma Beatty. Despite some synchronized play and strategic moves, the Gettysburg pair fell short, with set scores of 1-6 and 2-6.
The second doubles match saw Gettysburg’s Wynter Frenette and Maja Engl, the only freshman in the lineup, face off against Samantha Beaver and Kalia Hoedemaker of Cedar Cliff. Frenette and Engl showed determination, but the Cedar Cliff duo managed to secure the win with scores of 0-6 and 2-6.

Three of the top New Oxford players, all juniors, gave up their starting spots in order to allow all the seniors to play in their final high school match. In demonstrating what coach Travis Martin called “an incredible show of character” the team still managed to record yet another shutout win.
