Brooke Chronister, a 2019 graduate of Biglerville High School, is the winner of this year’s Adams County Democratic Committee (ACDC) Scholarship given annually to an Adams County democratic student.
“Along with being an outstanding student, Brooke is an outstanding young Democrat,” said Marcia Wilson, chair of the Adams County Democratic Committee. “She has volunteered at our Gettysburg headquarters, including helping with our renovation project. She also displayed her pottery during our 2018 Holiday Bazaar.”
Brooke will attend Misericordia University In Dallas, PA this fall where she will major in philosophy, and is looking ahead to law school.
“I am thrilled to be receiving this scholarship,” she said. “It is wonderful when you are recognized for putting in your time on something you believe in.”
Brooke lives in Biglerville with her parents, Melissa and Shane Chronister.
