The Adams Economic Alliance will join with the the Small Business Development Center at Shippensburg University, our region’s U.S. Small Business Administration office, to host three “Be an Evergreen” Workshops in the new year.
Evergreen businesses are those with the resourcefulness to create enduring, market-leading skill using the seven principles of:

The three free workshops will provide business advice and address the issues businesses faced in 2020.
The first workshop, “Be an Evergreen: First Steps Starting and Planning a Small Business” will be held Jan. 28 at 10:00 a.m. and is designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs to begin the process of successful business ownership. Attendees will learn:
Unique lifestyle requirements involved in owning a business
How to assess the feasibility of their business idea
Differences between business organization structures
How to develop a business plan
How to obtain financing
How to market their product or service
The applications and licenses needed to start their company
“Be an Evergreen” Workshop 2 is scheduled for Wednesday, February 10 at 10:00 a.m. The date for session 3 is still to be determined.
