Red, White, and Blueberry Time at Hollabaugh’s!Summer is blueberry season at Hollabaugh Bros., Inc., and the family farm is inviting the community to join in the celebration during its 71st Anniversary Blueberry Festival on Saturday, July 11, and Sunday, July 12, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This beloved annual tradition celebrates both the farm’s 71 years of serving the community and the arrival of one of summer’s sweetest harvests – fresh, local blueberries. Guests of all ages are invited to enjoy two afternoons packed with family-friendly activities, delicious food, and farm-fresh blueberry treats.
Festival-goers can relax and enjoy live music by local artist Austin Rife while taking in the scenic views of the farm. Guests will have the opportunity to sample a variety of blueberry products and indulge in favorites from the popular blueberry ice cream tent, featuring blueberry sundaes and blueberry pie à la mode. Fresh blueberry ice cream made with Hollabaugh-grown blueberries will also be available throughout the weekend.
For those looking to experience the harvest firsthand, pick-your-own blueberries will be offered both days, allowing visitors to gather their own fresh berries straight from the field. PYO blueberries will be available while supplies last. Wagon rides will provide a fun way to explore the farm and learn more about local agriculture.
Children will find plenty to keep them entertained with a complimentary blueberry-themed craft, scavenger hunt, yard games, and The Patch play area. The festival’s welcoming atmosphere and hands-on activities make it a favorite summer tradition for families throughout the region.
Guests are encouraged to come hungry. Several popular food vendors will be onsite throughout the weekend, including Dougie’s BBQ Smokehouse, Bricker’s Famous French Fries, and Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck, offering a variety of delicious food and beverages to complement the farm’s blueberry-themed offerings.
“The Blueberry Festival has become one of our favorite traditions of the year,” said the Hollabaugh family. “It’s an opportunity to celebrate another year of farming, share the blueberry harvest with our community, and create lasting memories for families who visit the farm.”
Admission to the festival is free, although some activities and food purchases carry additional costs.
