Annual Tree Lighting on Lincoln Square

The Gettysburg holiday season officially kicks off on Black Friday with the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

Santa will arrive in Lincoln Square to light the tree from the steps of the Gettysburg Hotel before he takes his place in the Santa Shanty.

Gettysburg has a lovely and inspirational holiday season, with concerts, theater productions, winter walks, ice skating, holiday sales, and many other events. Thousands of visitors experience it every year. The tree lighting is just the beginning of the week-long festivities.
