The Bermudian Springs School District opened on August 31 with students following a hybrid A/B plan in which half of the students attend school every day.

“Our first week couldn’t have gone any better.  It was great to see kids back in the hallways,” said Superintendent Shane Hotchkiss.

Hotchkiss thanked the staff and teachers for their work on the reopening of the schools saying “they’ve all done an amazing job.”

Hotchkiss also welcomed six new teachers to the Bermudian district:

  • Shannon Congleton-Parr, High School English Language and Yearbook
  • Mandi Ruberg, High School Math, Field Hockey Coach
  • Cheyenne Wivell, High School Agriculture
  • Elissa Matthews, Middle School ESL
  • Donald Albin, Middle School Math
  • Desirea Gulden, Elementary Learning Support
