The following information was provided by Beth Farnham about her candidacy in the general election:

Office sought: Representative in Congress 13th District

Party: Democrat

Residence: Conewago Township, Adams County

A former school board member for Conewago Valley School District (CVSD), elected Adams County Democratic Committee member, stay-at-home parent, and member of Gettysburg Presbyterian Church, Beth Farnham has resided in Conewago Township for over 17 years with her husband, Rob, and their two children who attend CVSD schools.

Outlining priorities of Democracy, Reproductive Freedom, Gun Safety, Public Education, Universal Healthcare, and Immigration Reform in her campaign, Farnham states, “In a strong Democracy, our right to vote is sacred, we have agency over our own bodies, we use, store, and sell guns responsibly, our healthcare is covered, we have equal access to quality education, and immigrants have clear paths to citizenship. Please vote for me, Beth Farnham, so that We The People of Pennsylvania’s 13th District can truly be represented in Congress.”

Meeting thousands of voters at local fairs, festivals, dinners, parades, town halls, and while door knocking across Pennsylvania’s 13th Congressional District which consists of Adams, Franklin, Fulton, Bedford, Cambria, Blair, Huntingdon, Mifflin, Juniata, and Perry counties as well as parts of Cumberland and Somerset counties, Farnham frequently tells potential constituents, “I am fighting for your right to vote, no matter how you are registered, no matter who you vote for. I do not support any form of authoritarian rule and any suggestion of dictatorship as made by convicted felon Trump is a slap in the face to every veteran who ever sacrificed for American Democracy. I am also fighting for Reproductive Freedom which includes access to safe and legal abortion, birth control, In Vitro Fertilization, and gender-affirming care. Only when we can create the families we choose are we truly free and the healthcare decisions we make for that purpose are no one else’s business.”

Critical of current Representative John Joyce’s refusal to certify Pennsylvania’s valid electoral votes mere hours after the violent insurrection Trump incited on January 6th, 2021, his co-sponsorship of the unscientific Life at Conception Act (2023), as well as his votes against the Women’s Health Protection Act (2021), the Infrastructure Investments and Jobs Act (2021), The America Rescue Plan (2021), and the Inflation Reduction Act (2022), Farnham describes him as an “election denier” who “places his loyalty to Trump above the needs of his constituency.”

Farnham registered as a Democrat in 2019. Previously, she had been registered as a Republican for over 25 years, per her website www.bethfarnhamforcongress.com
