On Monday, February 12, Beth Farnham, the Democratic candidate for Pennsylvania’s 13th Congressional District (PA-13), was approved for Pennsylvania’s April 23rd Primary Election ballot.
Farnham, a resident of Adams County, delivered in person to Harrisburg’s Keystone Building, 139 pages including 2 supplemental pages of qualifying signatures. The signatures represent an estimated 1.5% of registered Democrats in PA-13. Adams County and Franklin County provided 1000 of the needed signatures to qualify her as a candidate.
Another notable accomplishment was that Bedford County provided signatures from over 4% of its registered Democrats.
To recognize county Democratic committees and volunteers, Farnham sent an email of appreciation, “…you delivered a strong message of the importance of Democratic candidates on the ballot” and “Those papers in my hands represented every step you made, every door you knocked upon, every speech you gave, every moment you diligently guided signers over the precise instructions, and every care you took to ensure their safe delivery to…headquarters. I was proud to turn in the pages on your behalf…Together, we choose Democracy.”
Farnham announced her candidacy on January 12th at the Adams County Democratic Headquarters, noting “Constitutional Values” in her campaign speech which can be found on her campaign website: www.bethfarnhamforcongress.com .
