The victory marked her first win in the category after four previous nominations and cemented her as the first Black female artist to take home Best Country Album.

The ceremony also saw groundbreaking victories for rising stars. Doechii became just the third woman in history to win Best Rap Album for Alligator Bites Never Heal, while Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet earned her Best Pop Vocal Album. Chappell Roan, a breakout sensation, was named Best New Artist.
Hosted by Trevor Noah for the fifth consecutive year, the night was filled with memorable performances.
