Last week’s Junior Achievement event at Bigerlville High School was a day to remember—a great success. The program served the junior class, and 26 community volunteers worked with the students during the event.
Biglerville High School partnered with Junior Achievement of South Central PA to host the JA REAL Life program. This interactive, hands-on experience gives students a glimpse into the financial decisions they’ll face as adults. Provided free of charge and powered by community volunteers, this impactful program helps students build essential life skills—like budgeting and saving—and is a strong introduction to the concepts covered in Pennsylvania’s upcoming semester-long financial literacy course mandate. It also complements the course, reinforcing key lessons through real-world application and interactive learning.
