Acclaimed multi-instrumentalist Bobby Horton comes to Gettysburg for a three-day residency where he will perform six concerts of two distinct programs alongside celebrated ‘stand-up storyteller’ and musician, Sean Deitrich on August 15-17. These intimate concerts conjure up authentic sounds and stories of the Civil War and the American Railroad, inviting audiences to embark on a journey of song and story with two artists of unparalleled expertise.
Horton has produced and performed musical scores for 16 Ken Burns Films for PBS, including The Civil War and Baseball, as well as 21 films for the National Park Service.

“Bobby Horton and Sean Deitrich both bring uncommon talent and perspective to historical American music, and when together, their passion for historical storytelling and song is infectious, unpredictable, and a perfect complement to a day in beautiful and historic Gettysburg,” said Majestic Theater Executive Director, Brett Messenger.
Joining Horton for this special three-day residency is columnist, novelist, and storyteller Sean Dietrich, whose popular podcast, Sean of the South, has become synonymous with life in the American South.
