The Biglerville High School Boys soccer team fell 5-1 to Fleetwood in the 2023 District 3-2A Soccer Championship Quarterfinals this evening.
Playing at home, Fleetwood, who have only lost one game this season, played aggressively. The Tigers maintained most of the possession, and the Canners could not match their continuous pressure.
Fleetwood took an early lead but Biglerville’s Kody Mendoza scored an equalizer late in the 1st half.
But before halftime Fleetwood’s Nate Herb scored with an assist from Lukas Landis making it 2-1 at the intermission.
The Tigers #25 Logan DeLillo left the game with an injury early in the 2nd half but the home squad added three more goals from Joshue Avila, David Millisock, and William Maurek.
Biglerville finished their successful season with a 12-8 record.
