Bridge Repairs to Begin Next Week on Route 116 in Adams County

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that bridge repairs are scheduled to begin next week on Route 116 in Adams County. The bridge, which spans Plum Creek between Centennial Road and Oxford Road at the McSherrystown Borough/Conewago Township line, will be detoured.

Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, August 11. The bridge will be closed approximately one month so substructure and deck repairs can be performed.
