Coming off its first victory of the 2021 campaign, the Gettysburg College women’s lacrosse team grabbed the No. 5 position in the latest release of the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches’ Association Division III Poll.

Gettysburg (1-0) showed no signs of rust in dashing past Washington College 16-8 in its season opener over the weekend. Dating back to the preseason poll, the Bullets have maintained a top-five billing in all five editions of the national ballot.

Washington and Lee University (4-0) and Salisbury University (6-0) secured one and two first-place votes, respectively, to finish ahead of Gettysburg.
