The tennis programs at Gettysburg College feature student-athletes from diverse backgrounds and with different interests. What ties them all together is a passion for the sport of tennis and the ability to play it collegiately while getting a well-rounded, high-level education.

Why Gettysburg: I chose to come to Gettysburg because it is such a welcoming community and I felt I could really excel here. I am also the sixth person in my family to go to Gettysburg so I was happy to keep the tradition going!
Playing Bullets Tennis: The best part about playing tennis is Gettysburg is the supportive atmosphere. My teammates have very quickly turned into my best friends and I am forever grateful to get to see them every day at practice.

Molly Foresman

Why Gettysburg: I came to Gettysburg for the small college atmosphere and well-rounded liberal arts education. Having the opportunity to play tennis in a really competitive DIII conference like the Centennial was a plus!
Playing Bullets Tennis: The camaraderie on the team is unmatched. I’ve met my lifelong best friends through tennis at Gettysburg, and getting to be out on the courts with them at practice is always the best part of my day.

Favorite Class: My favorite class at Gettysburg has been economic statistics. My professor was very insightful and the skills I learned have been very practical.
Why Gettysburg: I chose Gettysburg because I wanted a small school in the East. I also wanted to be able to build relationships with professors and be involved more on campus.
Playing Bullets Tennis: The best part of playing tennis at Gettysburg is the escape it gives me from my everyday studies. It allows me to blow off stress and do something that I love.

Favorite Campus Spot: My favorite spot on campus is on the Adirondack chairs on Stine Lake. I love sitting there with friends enjoying the sun.
Favorite Class: My favorite class on campus was my first-year seminar called Plato, Personhood, and Popcorn taught by Professor Vernon Cisney. Specifically, it sparked my love for philosophy and it showed me how interesting the classes on campus are.
Why Gettysburg: I chose Gettysburg because I wanted a smaller community where I could play on a tennis team while also getting a quality education.
Playing Bullets Tennis: The best part about playing tennis at Gettysburg is definitely the close relationships I have with my teammates and our coach, Ali Flores
