Cary C. Dentinger (July 20, 1949 – September 22, 2020)

Cary C. “Dinger” Dentinger, age 71, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Gettysburg Hospital. He was born July 20, 1949 in Ringtown, PA, the son of the late Claude Dentinger and Helen (Cressman) Dentinger. 

Cary graduated Class of 1968 from Ringtown High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Army as an expert M16 gunman stationed in Germany and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He worked for several years as a machinist. In his spare time, Cary enjoyed fishing and hunting. 

He is survived by his companion, Linda S. Taylor of Aspers; two daughters, Shannon McCarty and her husband, Kris of Chantilly, VA and Erin Dentinger of Frackville, PA and two grandchildren, Kieran and Dechlan McCarty. 

Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Celebration of Life Services will be announced at a later date.
