“The Clark McLane Band (Chris Stanonis Shawn Carr Tom Rainey and Clark McLane) found themselves somewhere in Northern Pennsylvania on a Sunday morning in a diner with plates clinking meat sweating cigarettes burning in creased polyester-over a ridge where time forgot to get-in a church basement with a worn upright piano pounding out just enough melody to bring it home- in the sawdust on lunch break-by the creek bed under thirsty sycamores. They are an engaging quartet that can play to any room with a Martin and a couple of Fenders some drums and a few mics. They play songs out of time unrefined urgent and sincere songs that wouldn't tell you what if you asked.”
