
LANCASTER, Pa. Gettysburg College senior Emily Colline (Bridgewater, N.J./Immaculata) was named the Centennial Conference Player of the Week on Tuesday, April 27.
Colline earned her first weekly honor of the season and second of her career from the conference after helping the Bullets go 3-1 on the week. The senior first baseman averaged an outstanding .500 (6-for-12) from the plate with a .917 slugging percentage, eight RBI, two doubles, one run scored, and a homer. She played a crucial role in Gettysburg’s opening game win at McDaniel College on Saturday. With the score knotted at 5-5, she hit a two-RBI double in the top of the seventh to put the Bullets ahead by two en route to a 7-6 victory.
In the conference, Colline ranks second in RBI (14) and fourth in batting average (.432).
Gettysburg (9-3, 7-3 CC) welcomes Franklin & Marshall College (5-3, 5-3 CC) in the final regular-season doubleheader on Saturday at 1 p.m.
