Comments Policy
Gettysburg Connection’s mission includes providing a venue for open, honest, and civil dialogue among our readers. A community is only a community when it is based on respectful communication.
Readers are encouraged to post comments, keeping these guidelines in mind:
- Readers must provide their first and last name and email address. We may need to contact you via email before we can publish your comment.
- All comments are moderated and sometimes edited before publication – this may take up to 24 hours. Please contact us if your comment doesn’t appear in that time frame or if you are not happy with the edit.
- Comments are checked for accuracy. Comments that cannot be determined to be factual will not be published.
- Comments must be courteous. Please stay on topic and treat others with the same respect you’d want for yourself.
- If you see a comment that you feel is inappropriate, please contact us.
When you make a comment we collect the data shown in the comments form and also your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
