The Adams County Library is a longstanding and important resource to our community for a variety of reasons. At Wednesday’s public meeting the Board acted favorably on a recommendation from the Adams County Library System Board of Trustees to appoint the following as members to the Board of Trustees, effective April 25, 2024:
Kathleen Pratt to her first three-year term
Robert Williams to his first three-year term
Kara Boehne-Miele to her second three-year term
Heidi Gillis to her second three-year term
Rukhsana Rahman to her second three-year term
Also, library staff reported on numerous children’s program that will be offered this summer, and that the ever-growing Adams County Library FunFest will be held at the Gettysburg Rec Park on Friday, June 14, from 3-7 as part of their SummerQuest program.
