In our article from October 12, we erroneously stated that the borough was considering balancing the 2024 budget by potentially hiring only one police officer instead of two.
Borough Manager Charles Gable and Police Chief Robert Glenny have confirmed that the two new police officers have already been hired in the 2023 budget and there are no current plans in the 2024 budget to change that.
