On Wednesday, the Adams County Commissioners proclaimed May 19–25, 2024 as National Travel and Tourism Week — a time to recognize the economic and community benefits of this vital industry across the region.
Annually, visitors spend $736.6 million in Adams County, support nearly 4,900 jobs and generate more than $76 million in local, state and federal taxes. Additionally, the tourism industry improves the quality of life for residents throughout the area with expanded arts and culture, dining, shopping and entertainment.
