On Tuesday, August 5th, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Cumberland Township will be hosting a National Night Out event located at 730 Chambersburg Rd. Gettysburg, PA.
National Night Out brings together residents, first responders, local government officials, and organizations for an evening of fun, food, fellowship, and festivities all in the name of public safety and community engagement.
Vehicles and equipment will be on display from Cumberland Township Police and Maintenance Departments, Wellspan Wellfight, Gettysburg Fire Department, Barlow Fire Department, Adams Regional EMS, National Park Service Rangers, Pennsylvania State Police, Pennsylvania Game Commission, CSX Police, and others.
Activities include a smoke house provided by 1-800 Boardup, Wellflight helicopter landing, emergency vehicle displays, food trucks, community resources, free popcorn, and free prizes for children courtesy of CSX Police. A Cumberland Township Police Child Passenger Safety Technician will offer car seat installation and inspections.
The event will occur rain or shine.
