D’Amica Leads Women’s Golf at Gettysburg Invite

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – Junior Cameron D’Amica (Milford, N.J./Delaware Valley) finished third out of 14 competitors to lead the Gettysburg College women’s golf team at its own spring tournament hosted at Hanover Country Club Saturday.

Match Summary

D’Amica dropped four strokes from the front nine to the back to finish with a 96 on the par-71, 5,700-yard course. The Gettysburg junior finished three strokes shy of individual medalist Emma Mueller from Muhlenberg College. The top-five finish marked the second this season for D’Amica and the fifth of her career.

Joining D’Amica on the course were seniosr Claire Nagel (South Plainfield, N.J./South Plainfield) and Lindsay Waller (Perry, Mich./Perry). Nagel shot 122 to place 10th and Waller carded 131.

Ursinus College was the lone institution to field a full team and finished with a score of 449.
