Delone scored an impressive win in the quarterfinal round of the District 3 Class AAAA tournament Thursday evening. Playing on their home court, the Squirettes grabbed an early lead and were never seriously threatened after the first quarter. The Squirettes featured a balanced scoring attack led by Kaitlyn Schwarz and Brielle Baughman, who scored 13 and 10 points, respectively. For Eastern York, Arianna Seitz, the top regular-season scorer in the conference, led the way with 10 points. Delone, now 21-2 on the season, next moves into the semifinals and will play host to Bishop McDevitt on Monday night.
