The Adams County Democratic Committee will welcome PA State Rep. David Madsen as a guest speaker on Saturday evening, August 17th, at 6:30 PM at our Headquarters, 24 Chambersburg Street in Gettysburg.
Rep. Madsen is a member of the PA Legislative Black Caucus and the Blue-Green Caucus. He is vice chair of the Housing & Community Development Committee and serves on the Appropriations, Gaming Oversight, Human Services and Local Government Committees, among others.
Elected in 2022 in the 104th Legislative District in Harrisburg, he was born and raised in south central PA with strong ties to the community. His service on Harrisburg City Council from 2017-2022 included chairing the public works committee, prioritizing replacement of aging infrastructure and preventing blight by assisting property owners to get needed resources.
His work as the community services and education director for the PA AFL-CIO included food distribution drives, pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinics, and workforce programs.
Plan to welcome Rep. Madsen to Adams County and show our support for the full Democratic slate in November!
