Don’t Miss The Adams County Arts Council’s German Themed Culinary Event

The Adams County Arts Council is hosting a German themed four course food and hard cider culinary event on Thursday, October 15, from 6 to 8:00 pm at the Arts Education Center, 125 S. Washington Street, Gettysburg. The cost of the event is $50 for ACAC members and $55 for nonmembers. Takeout and limited seating is available. Masks and temperature taking required upon entering the building.

For this special occasion, Chef Cheri Freeman and Jacks Hard Cider will be working around an Oktoberfest theme, a festival held every year featuring hard beverages and food. The menu features a potato and beer soup paired with Jack’s original, a beer braised brisket with caramelized roasted vegetables and walnuts paired with Jack’s Hard Cider Rose, a caramelized onion pretzel roll and caraway seeds paired with Jack’s Hard Cider Pear, and fried potato dumplings with orange vanilla sugar paired with Jack’s Hard Cider Sweet Helens.
