The Adams County Glass Recycling Initiative is a collaboration between the county, several volunteer groups, and individuals. On the first Saturday of the month, residents can drop off glass from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the county complex beside the 911 Center at 230 Greenamyer Lane. The county has placed a green container clearly marked “Glass Recycling Only” in the county buildings.
Drop-off opportunities are expected to be expanded in the spring.
