Join the Dwight D. Eisenhower Society at its annual picnic at the Eisenhower National Historic Site on Saturday, July 20, 2024. Our picnic theme is Ike and Mamie in Paris with a nod to the Olympics set to begin in Paris the following weekend. Tours of the Eisenhower Home, a putting contest on the Eisenhower putting green and a park ranger program, “Eisenhower Adventures in the City of Light,” are scheduled. Participate in a trivia contest about Paris, the Olympics and the Eisenhowers’ time there in the late 1920s and early 1950s. Vanessa Rice will provide dinner music and afterward she and vocalist Ernie Kranias will entertain with popular songs from France and about France in the 1920s and early 1950s. Thanks to our sponsors, we will have many door prizes as well.
The Ragged Edge Coffee House of Gettysburg will cater for the picnic with their delicious Angus beef sliders, pulled chicken in Ike’s barbecue sauce, baked beans, fresh garden salad, potato salad, iced tea, lemonade and Mamie’s chocolate cake. Also, they will provide a surprise favor for each attendee. Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine as well.

To purchase picnic tickets, visit the Eisenhower Society webpage at dwightdeisenhowersociety.org. Prices are $45.00 a person or $260 for a table of six.
