The historic Electric Map, once a beloved staple of the Gettysburg battlefield experience, is lighting up again in Hanover, PA, with three scheduled showings this June.
Visitors can catch the immersive Civil War presentation at 3 PM on Wednesday, June 11; Thursday, June 26; and Friday, June 27. Each show runs about an hour and costs \$10 per person.
Housed at 22 Carlisle Street, the Electric Map provides a unique, narrated overview of the Battle of Gettysburg, utilizing synchronized lights across a large topographic map. Free parking is available on the side and rear of the building. Visitors should note that access to the map requires climbing a long flight of stairs.
The June 26–27 shows will coincide with a variety of historical events taking place in Hanover. Organizers promise more details soon, making those dates ideal for history buffs looking to enjoy a full day of local heritage.
