Residents of Gettysburg Borough will have the opportunity to responsibly dispose of old electronics during a scheduled recycling event on October 19th. Waste Management, Inc. has partnered with the Borough to facilitate the recycling of covered electronic devices, such as TVs, computers, and related peripherals.
The event will occur at the Gettysburg Borough Public Works Building at 457 East Middle Street. To ensure an efficient process, residents must pre-register by October 18th. Registration can be completed online at gettysburgpa.gov/recycling/webforms/e-recycling-registration or by calling 717-337-0724 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays.

Registered participants will receive a designated 15-minute time window for drop-off, designed to help streamline the process and minimize wait times. Those who register must provide proof of being a Waste Management customer, such as a customer account number, and list the specific devices they plan to recycle.
This event supports the Borough’s commitment to environmentally responsible waste disposal and ensures that hazardous materials in electronic devices are properly handled. A map of the Public Works Building’s location is available on the borough website for residents needing directions.
