Take in special events and refreshments with almost 100 businesses throughout Historic Gettysburg hosting special receptions guest artists and authors sales and later business hours. Look for the First Friday banner at participating Gettysburg area shops galleries restaurants and businesses. Visit the GARMA website for a list of participating businesses. Follow us on Facebook to stay up to date on the exciting things our members do to celebrate the beginning of each new month – Gettysburg Style!

June 
Join us as we celebrate the coming summer solstice. The theme for June's First Friday is Recycling – did you know many GARMA Members are “green”?

July
Join us as we celebrate Take Me Out to The Ballgame Family Fun: Concessions / Treats / Ice Cream on Lincoln Square and in Downtown Gettysburg.  

August
Join us as we celebrate 60’s Feelin Groovy – Everybody Come Together theme on Lincoln Square and in Downtown Gettysburg.

September 
Join us in September for National Library Month and a celebration of books / the love of reading. 

October
It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month! GARMA will be supporting and working with Adams Cancer Center and Encore Breast Cancer Support Group to sell pink strands of lights – all proceeds go to both organizations in support of local people and their families during their fight against cancer. 

November
Support our Veterans. Donations are made to MCVet out of MD. MCVet provides comprehensive services to homeless veterans and those in need. It takes an entire community to help a veteran heal.  Each November we as a community of businesses in Gettysburg do our best to make meaningful donations to help that process. 

December 
December First Friday is one of our favorites! This year GARMA's First Friday event corresponds with Gettysburg's A Christmas Festival – a two-weekend event celebrating the Holiday season.
