Fox Sports announced Thursday an expansive broadcast plan for next summer’s 2026 FIFA World Cup, committing to air all 104 tournament matches live across its platforms in what it calls the most significant production in company history.
The network will televise every game live on either the Fox broadcast network or FS1, with simultaneous live streaming on Fox One and the Fox Sports app. The month-long tournament, running from June 11 through July 19, will take place across 16 host cities in the United States, Mexico, and Canada — the first World Cup ever shared by three nations.
Major U.S. cities, including Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Seattle, and San Francisco, will host matches as the expanded 48-team format makes its debut. Fox will deliver more than 340 hours of tournament-related coverage, roughly 100 hours more than the network offered during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The 2026 event marks Fox Sports’ sixth time as the exclusive English-language broadcaster of the World Cup in the United States. NBCUniversal’s Telemundo will again provide Spanish-language coverage.
The network said its plans represent the most ambitious World Cup television effort in American history, bringing the sport’s biggest global spectacle to more viewers than ever before. Fox executives anticipate record-breaking audiences for marquee matchups and U.S. Men’s National Team appearances.
The U.S. team’s group stage matches are already set for June 12 in Los Angeles, June 19 in Seattle, and June 25 back in Los Angeles. The complete broadcast schedule will be announced following the FIFA World Cup Final Draw, airing live December 5 on Fox from the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
