Collaborating for Youth (CFY) will host the fifth annual Family Friday Fall and Farm Night on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Gettysburg REC Park, 545 Long Lane; the event is free and open to community members of all ages and will be alcohol-free as part of CFY’s mission to provide substance-free activities for individuals and families.
Family Friday Fall and Farm Night is part of a series of free events in Adams County funded in part by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness in communities; activities will include a popular local DJ, fall-themed crafts, scarecrow-building contests, pumpkin painting, field games, free picnic fare, and information and activities from local nonprofit organizations.

The event will also feature the fifth annual pie-eating contest, which raises awareness and funds to support youth leadership projects across all six of Adams County’s school districts; local dignitaries and community members will compete to see who can eat the most pie in four minutes, with the contest scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.
Family Friday Fall and Farm Night will be held rain or shine, and door prizes will be available for attendees — you must be present to win.
