Game Schedules Announced for Spring Sports

– The Centennial Conference has announced the game schedules for baseball, men’s and women’s lacrosse, softball, and men’s and women’s tennis with competition slated to kick off March 20.

 

Each school will face the same school in all sports each week. Games will be held on each Saturday from March 20 through May 1. May 7-8 will be a potential make-up weekend for postponed games in the sports baseball, men’s lacrosse, softball, and men’s and women’s tennis.

 

Conference champions will be determined in these six sports based on regular-season round-robin play.

 

Here are the week-by-week conference matchups for the Bullets:

Gettysburg v Washington College (baseball/softball at GET, lacrosse/tennis at WAS)

 
March 27

Gettysburg v Muhlenberg (baseball/softball at MUH, lacrosse/tennis at GET)

 
April 3

Dickinson v Gettysburg (baseball/softball at GET, lacrosse/tennis at DC)

 
April 10

Gettysburg v Ursinus (baseball/softball at URS, lacrosse/tennis at GET)

 
April 17

Gettysburg v Johns Hopkins (baseball at GET, tennis at JHU)
GET bye in lacrosse, softball

 
April 24

Gettysburg v McDaniel (baseball/softball at MCD, lacrosse/tennis at GET)

 
May 1

F&M v Gettysburg (baseball/softball at GET, lacrosse/tennis at F&M)

Championship events will be held in the sports of men’s and women’s golf and men’s and women’s outdoor track & field. Details are still being finalized for these championships and will be announced soon.

 

In its announcement about spring competition last week, the Centennial Conference Presidents’ Council maintained outside spectators will not be permitted at conference contests. However, institutions are dedicated to providing video streaming and/or live statistics for competitions when able.

 

The Conference has adopted protocols on testing, travel, and game management standards that exceed the NCAA guidelines for spring sports. All plans and protocols are subject to change based on the realities of the pandemic.
