The Gettysburg Garden Club’s Annual Spring Plant Sale is coming up this Saturday, May 18, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (or until sold out). The sale will be held at the Gettysburg Fire Hall, 35 North Stratton St., Gettysburg.
The sale includes native perennials like spring-blooming spider wart, primrose, many varieties of iris, lupine, bleeding heart, forget-me-knot, columbine, bachelor buttons, and wild ginger. Summer bloomers include hyssop, bee balm, foxglove, firecracker loosestrife, clustered bell flower, mountain mint, penstemon, coneflower, Shasta daisy, tall phlox, and non-aggressive day lily. Fall plants include turtleheads, blue salvia, black-eyed Susan, and mums. There will also be many varieties of shade-loving plants including hosta, ferns, hellebore, and astilbe, as well as an assortment of tree seedlings and some raspberry plants.

Your support helps the Garden Club beautify downtown Gettysburg and helps fund scholarships for students studying horticulture or biology.
