The Gettysburg Area School District Board of Directors will continue the three hour long discussion they started at their regular meeting on Monday at a special meeting tonight.
The topic is the proposed school reopening plan.
After extensive discussion with administrators, staff, and parents over the past two weeks School Superintendent Jason Perrin and his administrative team presented the board with a plan that called for two days of school per week for all school children.

Perrin and other administrators said there was not enough room in the schools to allow adequate social distancing if all children came to school every day.

Several members of the school board said they thought students should attend five days a week and were unwilling to approve the proposed plan.
