Gettysburg Community Concert Association (GCCA) is now offering membership subscriptions for its 2026 spring season. All concerts will be held at 7:30 pm at St. James Lutheran Church, 109 York Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
On April 7, GCCA welcomes Ivalas (photo 1), which has been changing the face of classical music since its inception in 2017 with a mission to enrich the classical music world by spotlighting past and present composers that are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color along with standard repertory. Violinists Reuben Kebede and Tiani Butts, violist Marcus Stevenson, and cellist Pedro Sánchez trust in the power of music to create a positive change in our communities.
The final concert of GCCA’s 82nd season features The Neave Trio (photo 2) on May 12, 2026. The Neave derives its name from the Gaelic word “niamh” meaning “bright” and “radiant.” Violinist Anna Williams, cellist Mikhail Veselov, and pianist Eri Nakamura live up to this description as a vibrant and highly talented ensemble with engaging, cutting-edge performances.
The spring membership subscription of $30 includes admission to the 2 concerts in Gettysburg as well as five more shows in Waynesboro (waynesboropaconcerts.com) and Hagerstown (hagerstowncommunityconcerts.org) through reciprocal concert association agreements. Music genres at partner concerts include classical, pop, rock, bluegrass, western, folk, and more. Admission is $20 at the door for individual GCCA concerts, but free for anyone under 19 (under 13 with an adult) and college students with an ID.
GCCA, a nonprofit formed in 1939 to cultivate an interest in music and dance, provides opportunities for its members to attend performances given by outstanding artists. A student outreach program was started in 2005. Funds are raised primarily through annual subscription memberships. The GCCA 2025–26 season is supported in part by Pennsylvania Creative Industries, powered by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a State agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the National Endowment for the Arts; Adams County Arts Council’s STAR Grant Program funded by the Adams County Commissioners, the Robert C. Hoffman Charitable Endowment Trust, and the Borough of Gettysburg; Adams Electric Cooperative, Inc.; Destination Gettysburg; Enbridge Fueling Futures; and The Rice Family Foundation.
